A quiet word about your information.
This is a small studio website, run personally by me. What follows is simply an honest account of the little information it gathers, why, and how you stay in control of it.
What you share with me
When you write through one of the enquiry forms — a commission, a Sip & Paint booking, Little Creators, a speaking invitation or a general note — I receive the details you choose to give me: usually your name, email address, phone number if you add one, and whatever you tell me about what you're imagining.
That information is used for one thing only: to reply to you and, if we go ahead, to arrange the work. I don't sell it, rent it, or add you to anything you didn't ask for.
Cookies, gently explained
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site uses very few. Some are simply necessary — they remember your cookie choice and keep pages working properly. Others are optional analytics cookies, and those only appear if you've said yes.
If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics script is loaded at all. The site behaves exactly the same.
Google Analytics
With your consent, I use Google Analytics 4 to understand which paintings, collections and stories people spend time with. It tells me things like which pages are visited and roughly where in the world visitors are — never who you are.
Analytics loads only after consent is given, and Google Consent Mode is configured so advertising and personalisation storage stay switched off.
Third parties I rely on
A small handful of trusted services keep the studio running: Google Analytics for the insights above, a hosting and database provider that stores enquiry submissions securely, and Google Search Console, which reports on how the site appears in search results.
Payment and print partners, where they apply, handle their own details directly and are covered by their own privacy terms.
How long things are kept
Enquiry details are kept for as long as they're useful to our conversation and any resulting work, and then removed. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings.
Your rights
South Africa's POPIA — and the GDPR, if you're writing from Europe — give you the right to ask what information I hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted entirely. You can also withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the Cookie Settings button below.
Just ask, and I'll take care of it personally.
Changing your mind
You can reopen the cookie notice and change your choice whenever you like.
